Welcome back!! Laurie here, back to share a fun card made using some Lawn Fawn goodness!! I have a soft spot in my heart for Lawn Fawn clouds. I think they are so darned cute! So I just had to have the Rain or Shine Before n’ Afters Stamp Set. This set was made to go with the Magic Picture Changer Die but can also be used alone, which is what I did for my card today.
I started by stamping the rainbow image and a few of the cloud images. After colouring them in with my alcohol markers, I used the co-0rdinating dies to cut them out.
For the background, I cut the Polka Heart Backdrop Die out of white cardstock and layered it onto a piece of grey cardstock. This backdrop die is so beautiful!!
I adhered the heart panel onto a white, top fold card base and used foam adhesive to adhere all my images except one set of clouds, in which case, I used Nuvo Deluxe Adhesive. The sentiment was white heat embossed onto the same grey cardstock and cut down into strips. These were also foam mounted.
I ended up using the Polka Heart Backdrop die on a small piece of scrap, yellow cardstock so I could add a few yellow hearts back into the design. I felt a little extra pop of colour was needed. I also added some sparkle with a Clear Wink of Stella marker to the clouds and the yellow hearts as well as a generous helping of Nuvo Crystal Glaze to the rainbow!
