Time To Recycle

Hi Everyone! It’s Susan and I’m here with a card for today’s Random Act of Cardness Challenge. I decided that since today is Earth Day I would make the prompt RECYCLE.

I love to take pieces of cardboard boxes and use them on cards are as covers for notebooks and mini scrapbook albums.

I cut a piece of Moonlit Fog with the largest die in the Lawn Fawn Small Rectangle Die Set and adhered it to a white card base. After removing the top layer from the piece of cardboard I sponged the edges with Icing on the Cake ink from Catherine Pooler Designs then adhered it to the card.

I stamped the Zen Butterfly from Lavinia with Nocturne ink onto some brown paper that was used for packing in an online order I received. I fussy cut the image and adhered it to the card using craft foam under the wings to pop them up but the body and antennas are adhered directly to the card.

The sentiment is from My Favorite Things Beautiful Blessings, embossed with WOW Super Fine White Embossing Powder on Gina K Moonlit Fog card stock that I sponged the edges with Icing on the Cake ink and adhered directly to the card.

I finished the card with some clear gems in my stash.

Thanks so much for spending some of your day with me.
Take care
Susan
