Happy Tuesday! Around here it’s known as Taco Tuesday and we sometimes like to head down to a local brewery and enjoy food truck tacos with a cold beer- it’s a great way to celebrate recovering from Monday 🙂 I made this card for a friend’s birthday celebration over the weekend. Simple cards like this, with the BEER blueprints stamps by Tim Holtz, are great when you need one at the last minute, and I knew the theme would be appreciated! I simply stamped and added the color of his favorite brew.
Everything was simply stamped in Black Archival ink and colored with watercolor pencils & a water brush. The beer bottle and pretzel were stamped on white cardstock and fussy cut to layer onto the kraft tag. I was digging through my 6×6 paper pads and found this kraft core crackle cardstock I had forgotten about- I’m pretty sure it’s not made anymore but it was a great fit for this card!
I added a simple sentiment, also from Tim Holtz, to complete the card. I have a feeling this is a card I’ll be duplicating in a variety of colors in the future- the stamps are great for a variety of occasions, including long weekends like we just had!
Inky hugs,
Tara
