Happy Tuesday!
Hope you had a great week! Since I neglected to post a Mother’s Day card last week I thought I’d share a card celebrating women… it came about from some fun creative play with Distress Oxide and paper dolls and botanical due cuts from Tim Holtz idea-ology.
I started with a kraft card, some collaged papers and white gesso.
From there I inked & spritzed a subtle background with Distress Oxide inks (iced spruce & vintage photo) then stamped a background stamp with Faded Jeans. I missed the stamp heavily for puddles of Oxide goodness…
After selecting die cut images, I inked a small Manila tag as well, adding some broken china for a little brighter color. I stamped the same background image on my tag, then added some script as well.
The finished card is a simple, vintage collage with some great inky layers. Hope you like it and it inspires you to play with Distress Oxides! They’re pretty fun!
Inky hugs,
Tara
