Hi crafty friends and welcome back. It’s Sandi here and today I’ve created a fun Valentine’s card to share with you using My Favorite things products and Copic Markers called a Warm and Feathered Valentines.
Yeah, I’m so excited to tell you that Scrap ‘N Stamp has Copic Markers Back in stock for all your colouring adventures.
I started by blending Distress Oxides for the background. Spun Sugar, Worn Lipstick, Squeezed Lemonade and Picked Raspberry. Then I placed the Lots of Hearts Stencil over this and used the darkest color, Picked Raspberry to blend in some hearts. When the ink was dry, I splatted a bit of white paint to give the illusion of snow.
The final step for the background, I white heat embossed the snowflakes and sentiment.
I took advantage of the recent Memory Box Die sale and scooped up these Alpine Trees which I die cut to create my snow covered trees and frosty mountain. The white background really helps to make that little owl POP.
Finally, I stamped my owl in copic friendly Memento Tuxedo Black ink, colored him with my Copic Markers and then die cut him out with the coordinating dies.
The sentiment set I used, Birdie Brown greetings is currently out of stock so I have linked to Greetings Galore which is a similar set and has lots of different sentiments you could use on this card.
That’s it for me today, hope you enjoyed the project. I have linked the supplies I used for A Warm and Feathered Valentines card below for you and until next time, Happy Stamping
