Happy Tuesday! Today I’ve got a tag to share with you! I know many people avoid tags because they don’t know what to do with them, but I like them as they give me options… a tag this size can easily be attached to a blank card base for a quick card, or tied to a gift bag or bottle of wine 🙂 A handmade tag is a great way to add a personal touch to a quick & easy gift!
I’ve used the same tree I featured last week (cut from two different papers to make two trees!) which is a fave of mine (from several years ago) by Dee’s Distinctively. The little cabin scene was stamped in grey on a die cut circle… I’m honestly not sure who makes the stamp though, as it was an extra piece from a card class I went to a couple years ago and it just seemed like a perfect fit!
The tag is kraft, dipped in some Distress Oxide ink leftover on my kraft sheet from another project. The metal tag is by Tim Holtz, I inked/painted it with some Vintage paint to warm it up a bit.
It’s a simple project, but is perfect for sharing some holiday cheer 🙂
Inky hugs,
Tara
p.s. plan to join us this Saturday, Dec. 9 for another BLOG HOP!
