Happy Tuesday! How is 2018 treating you so far? I’ve decided it’s going to be a year where I do whatever I can to make it EPIC, so today I’ve got a resolution of sorts in card form. Because of that (and because I still had a variety of purple items out on my work space) I’ve created once again with the color of the year…
Hee hee. Bet you weren’t expecting a hipster goat card! I had fun creating with this stamp & coordinating layered die set by Tim Holtz, I stamped it three times and colored simply with my Distress Inks and an ink blending tool, adding a bit of detail with a water brush. I like how easy it is to get the 3D accents and I always love adding a touch of shine with Glossy Accents to things like his glasses.
The kraft tag was simply inked through a stencil with Distress Oxide ink (it will never get old to me how awesome this looks on kraft!) and a bit of inky torn book print, washi tape & enamel accents finish it off. I combined the ‘epic’ sentiment stamp with some chit chat stickers to make my ‘resolution’ type sentiment- Seriously, in 2018 we should go out and make EPIC things happen! Feel free to start in your crafty space 🙂
Inky hugs,
Tara
