Adoring Hearts

Hello all, Kia back with you today to share these cards I made using Alcohol Inks. I loved the look of the two red and salmon backgrounds that I decided I would make them into Valentine cards. I then thought I would do the green and pink for a friend, who’s favourite colour is green. I also used a new to me heart die from Memory Box Open Studio Die called Wrapped Stitch Heart. Scrap’n Stamp does not have it in the store as yet, but you can get it at the link I provided for you.

For the green and pink card I used Clover and Raspberry Alcohol Inks, along with the Blending Solution. Once I finished the background, I added in the Gold Deco Foil using the Deco Adhesive. I then die cut heart using my Gemini Jr. and added the Clover ink on it, along with adding a faint amount of ink to the label before I stamped the sentiment with Memento Ink.

You can find the Video I did for the above card here.

For this card I used the Salmon and Poppyfield inks. I love the boldness of this card. I also added Gold Deco Foil to both the background and heart die, and stamped the sentiment on the heart using Memento Ink.

Another card using the Salmon and Poppyfield, with the sentiment stamped in the lower right corner. I certainly did enjoy making these cards, and I hope I have inspired you to make some alcohol ink backgrounds for Valentine’s Day. There are other close up pictures on my blog which can be found in this post.

Thank you for joining us here at Scrap’n Stamp. I am also attaching links to the products I used for these cards.
