Love and Sunshine Tag

Hello everyone, Kia here today to bring you this tag I made for the Random Act of Cardness events, day 10, which does say floral! But, as sometimes happens, I had to change it up a bit. So my keyword should be Stars and Hearts I think.

I am using the Honey Bee Rainbow Dreams die set for this tag along with Worn Lipstick distress oxide ink.

There is a coordinating stamp set to this, which I am sure will be in the store soon. which has the stamps that match the set. I used the hearts from that set to stamp and give me the shape, then fussy cut.

I then added the clouds, a total of 8 with one being on each side of the 4 clouds. This gives added weight to the tag.

I sponged on the Worn Lipstick to the clouds and running up the rainbow on all sides. I placed the tag in my mini Misti and stamped the sentiments again using the worn lipstick ink, then added a few die cut stars from the set.

To finish up I made a hole with my paper piercer in the middle of the rainbow and added the pink satin ribbon.

It was fun to do this tag for a change today. Thank you for dropping by.

Tuesday with Tara {take 357} CAS Throwback

Happy Tuesday!  Today the challenge word in our SNS group is ‘CAS’ which stands for Clean And Simple and I’m sharing with you a throwback card in honor of the first day of summer.  Woo!  My card is a simple one layer (apart from that sentiment sticker and a few sequins) beach scene and I hope you like it!

You can find all the fun details, including products used, on my personal blog.  The stamp set, which has a great variety of sea shells in different sizes, is ON SALE right now too!  Check it out!

Happy first day of summer!  See you next week 🙂

Inky hugs,

Tara

Tuesday with Tara {take 355} Thankful Cacti

Happy Tuesday!  I’m so thankful you’re here on this Tuesday afternoon!

If you caught the fun “For The Boys” inspiration hop over the weekend, this card will definitely
have some familiar elements to it! (and if you didn’t catch it… it’s not too late!) I’m once again using the Mod Cactus Stamp Set by Tim Holtz paired with a simple palette of Distress Oxide Ink on a Kraft background, this time with a bit more whimsy.
The cacti were stamped the same as on my other card, inked with Twisted Citron Ink & the pots with Wild Honey.  I mixed things up and added some circular die cuts and a tag for the sentiment, then layered it all over a stenciled background- Frayed Burlap Distress Oxide Ink Spray through a fun Vicki Boutin stencil!

It’s as simple as that!   Hope you like it!  If you missed my other card that uses a lot of the same supplies, you can see it on my Instagram or watch for it on my blog in the next few days.

Inky hugs,

Tara
