Hello Fall Flowers with Lawn Fawn

Hello to all. Kia back with you today to share this card.

I am using the Magic Iris Tropical Leaves Die by Lawn Fawn for my card today. I decided to play up the colour in the stencil background, and leave the leaf die in the white. But for a little colour I did colour up a few flowers and branches which I attached to the leaf die on foam squares.

The background is a stencil from A Colorful Life Design. I had planned this card to play on the patterns, not thinking that the stencil comes from the States. But I am sure there are stencils that mimic this pattern.

The stencilling is done using Crackling Campfire, Rusty Hinge, Barn Door and Salvaged Patina Distress Oxide Ink

I then added the leaf die using foam squares, and glued in the circle die cut to the centre. In my mini Misti I stamped the sentiment using VersaFine Clair ink in Warm Breeze and added a few pops of colour.

I then attached the flowers and branches, again using foam squares, which I had die cut and coloured using Copic markers.

I must say I very much like the way this card turned out. I hope you have enjoyed it as well.

Thanking you

I am back with you today to share this thank you card I made using Honey Bee Stamps and dies along with Copic colouring.

I began by stamping in my mini Misti the pieces that I wanted to use for my card, being the flowers, leaves, one of the birds and the birdhouse. I began the colouring with the flowers, using R59, R29, R27, R35 and R43; then the Leaves using YG17, YG25, YG03; followed by the Bird using BG07, BG05, BG02, BG01, BG000 and finally the Birdhouse using E57, E37, YR27, E99.

When I finished the colouring I then die cut the pieces using the coordinating dies. For the card backgound I stenciled clouds using Tumbled Glass distress oxide ink. I then arranged and attached the flowers and leaves followed by the bird and birdhouse, using foam squares to attach, and in a few instances Nuvo adhesive.

Moving on to the inside of the card I again did the stencil clouds, followed by adding the branch and flower at the top of the page, with the sentiment done in the middle, stamped using both Memento Ink in Rhubarb Stalk and Tuxedo Black.

I hope you have enjoyed this card, and I thank you for visiting us today. Following are Affiliate links for the products that I used today, at no extra cost to you.

Sunshine Thoughts

Hello all, Kia here with you today to introduce you to “Sunshine Thoughts”. This is a thank you card, the thank you has been done on the inside.

But first, the front of my card. I am using distress inks in Squeezed Lemonade, Mustard Seed and Tumbled Glass for this card.

To start I taped off the left side of my card and blended on the Squeezed Lemonade and Mustard Seed alternating between the two colours. I then die cut the sun, clouds and hearts from the Rainbow Dreams honey cuts set.

To the sun I added squeezed lemonade. The top of the clouds was done using tumbled glass, and the hearts were done using first the squeezed lemonade, then the tumbled glass, giving the green. Green hearts represent gratitude.

On one of the clouds I stamped the sentiment using distress ink in Mustard Seed. I then stamped the “and” below where the cloud would be and attached the green hearts using Nuvo adhesive.

I arranged the pieces then attached them using foam squares. To the middle heart I added a crystal gem.

On the inside of the card I used the Bitty Buzzword stamps and dies, keeping to the colours from the front.

Thank you for joining me today. I hope you have enjoyed today’s card, Sunshine Thoughts. Following are links for the products which can be found in the Scrap’n Stamp store.
