Lawn Fawn Build a House!
Hello and Happy Sunday! Laurie here to share a card featuring the Build A House Die Set from Lawn Fawn. I LOVE this set! As a kid up into my teenage years, I was a huge LEGO fan and one of my favourite things to build were houses. So, in a lot of ways, this set reminds me of that.
I started by die cutting almost all of the pieces out of white cardstock. To add all the colour, I used the Tropical Island Ink Cube Set (also Lawn Fawn) as well as a couple colours from the Ice Cream Parlour and Gazebo Ink Cube Sets. Lawn Fawn has the yummiest colours!

This is fairly time consuming and definitely not something you’d want to mass produce but is so much fun to put together! I used craft foam to add dimension on the door, the canopy and the upper roof line. I tried to create “blinds” out of patterned paper for the windows.

The card base consist of two Fancy Scalloped Rectangle Dies adhered together at the top. I masked off around the edges of the front panel and used the Cloud Stencil from MFT along with Broken China Distress Ink to create a cloudy sky and a hill mask along with Twisted Citron Distress Ink to create some rolling hills.
I glued the house down with Nuvo Deluxe Adhesive because I thought there was likely enough dimension going on. The sentiment comes from the Rain or Shine Before n’ Afters stamp set and was stamped onto a white strip of cardstock.

I added a touch of shimmer to the flowers using a Nuvo Aqua Shimmer Pen and a few clear sequins.
Thank you for stopping by today! Have a great day!
Laurie
