Day 2 at the CHA! Lots of new discoveries…

Hi everyone!

What a fun day! It started off at the Art Impressions booth where we saw all the new Girlfriends stamps and a new line of stamps that work with the Action Wobble Springs called Shake Your Booty! You are going to LOVE them.

Bonnie Krebs, the creative genius behind all these fantastic stamps took a few minutes to show us around the booth and gave us all the details about some fantastic new Girlfriends products that will be coming out in March. I don’t want to give away too much but they are perfect for anyone that doesn’t want to have to do a lot of coloring or cutting.

We discovered a great new company from England called Docrafts and have ordered lots of stamps, dies, paper & die cuts that we know you will enjoy working with. Here’s a little sample of what we saw…

One of the new exhibitors at the show this year was Woodware Stamps and we were blown away by all the fantastic images and samples. Lots of guy stamps, beautiful florals and sentiment sets.

And we ended the day going to see some of the awards presented for innovative products and booth displays. After all the awards were handed out they did a draw from those that had attended and I won $100 cold, hard, cash!!! I don’t usually win things and so this was a delightful surprise.

Off to bed soon. More booths to explore tomorrow. Hope you are enjoying this little glimpse at the show.

Yippee! It’s our first day at the CHA

Hi everyone!

We arrived in Anaheim late yesterday and got all settled in and today was our first day at the CHA. There was so much to see and so many great demos to watch and we are only about a thirds of the way through the show. By the time we left at 5pm we were totally on sensory overload. It’s almost too much to take in at once. LOL!

One of the first booths that we stopped at was Cheery Lynn Designs where we met Mike and saw all the great new dies that are being released. The booth was filled with lots of incredible samples that we will share with you on the website when the dies come in but I’m going to tease you a little with these pics for now…

We recently added Impression Obsession dies and stamps to our store and we were thrilled to see the new designs that they are bringing out. They have a wonderful group of designers that offer several different styles that we know you are going to enjoy working with.

We stopped by the Ranger booth in the afternoon to take a look at the new Tim Holtz Distress Paint that will be available in 24 colors that coordinate with the other Tim Holtz Distress products that we carry like the ink pads, reinkers & markers. They have a dauber top and are more fluid than other acrylic paints and work for lots of different techniques. We should be able to get these some time in February.

And the last company that I want to share with you today is Elizabeth Craft Designs. We already carry lots of peel off stickers from them and the ever popular Shimmer Sheets and now we will be adding their new line of dies, velvet stickers and adhesive velvet sheets. Wait until you see what they have come up with. Very cool!

Well…that’s it for today. Time to put my feet up and get rested for another exciting day tomorrow. Can’t wait to share more fun stuff with you.
