Day 3 at the CHA – It was all about stamps!

Good morning everyone!

Sorry I didn’t post anything last night but I just ran out of steam after another full day at the show. By the time we had dinner and came back to the hotel I was so tired I don’t think I could have put a cohesive thought together so I thought it would be better to wait until this morning to show you some more pics. Yesterday we placed orders for lots of stamps and our day started with Northwoods. Pat, the owner or Northwoods, took a few minutes to demonstrate the coloring technique that they use and gave us some tips and tricks. I will be making a YouTube video after I get back so that I can share them with you. Knowing how they use the Tombow markers (which we will be bringing in) will make it easy for you to recreate the vibrant look they have ont heir samples. Here are just a few of the stamps we ordered…

Our  next stop was at the JustRite booth where Kelly Fortin showed us all the new stamps and dies that they have come out with. YUMMY! You are going to love their new designs.

They have come out with a nice variety in cling and clear to tempt us and another sentiment set that is going to be very popular. Here’s a peek at some of the samples they have on display…

Here’s a few other things that we discovered yesterday…

For all you ProMarker & Copic Marker fans we have found the ultimate storage system from ArtBin. It holds tons of markers in a case with a handle so it’s completely portable.

Any of you that have lots of dies like Spellbinders or Memory Box we found another storage system with magnetic sheets in binders from Crafter’s Companion.

There’s so much more that I’m going to have to wait until I get home to share more of it with you. Let’s just say that we should have lots of new things coming in every week for the next few months 🙂

As we were leaving the show we happened to meet Tim Holtz. He had just finished a demonstration and was gracious enough to stop for a picture with me. Nice way to end the day.

As soon as we are back I will be putting up a preorder for the new Spellbinders dies. I would have liked to have shown you pictures of the projects they made with them but they don’t allow photographs at their booth but I can tell you that there are a lot of really terrific dies to choose from this release and the Imperial Gold dies give a really cool extra effect.

Well, that’s it for today. This is the last day of the show so we will just be finishing off our orders and getting ready to head home tomorrow.

Bye for now!
