Sizzix Tim Holtz Dies

Noel

Hello to all! Kia here with you today to share this card I made, with a design and colours a bit different for me. I started with a Neenah 110lb cardbase for this card. For the design I die cut 2 of the Penny Black Antique Frames and inked the edges with the gold ink. The one I cut for the inside of the card I glued in place. For the front card piece I stamped with VersaMark ink and heat embossed with gold embossing powder.

I did the same on the die cut Bauble as well. I then applied Abandoned Coral along with Crackling Campfire to the Bauble. Using foam tape I attached the background panel, then added the Bauble also using foam tape. I then glued in place the bows and fir pieces and added the gems. I die cut the Noel sentiment 3 times, twice using white cardstock, and once in the gold glitter cardstock. I sponged on the Delicata ink to the two white pieces of the Noel and glued them together. I then glued on the gold glitter Noel.

By the time I finished this card the sun had come around to my craft room, so I took all the pictures in full sun. Love it when that happens! Thanks so much for visiting today.

Hello all!  Kia here with you for today’s Random Act of Cardness.  My prompt name is Bunny.  But where is the Bunny you ask?  He is coming, so not to worry.

But first I would like to detail the front of my card.  For my background I did some smooshing with Antique Linen, Gathered Twigs, Walnut Stain and Black Soot distress inks.  Once the background was dry I embossed it using Tim Holtz Embossing Folder Doily.

I then die cut the carrots, doing the same technqiue using Crackling Campfire, Gathered Twigs, Twisted Citron and Rustic Wilderness.  I also died the ribbon with the Rustic Wilderness.

Gathering the carrots together I wrapped the ribbon around them, attaching them to my background using foam strips, then stamped the sentiment using VersaFine Clair ink in Tulip Red.

On the inside of the card I did the background the same way as the front using Twisted Citron and Rustic Wilderness, and is also embossed with the Doily embossing folder.  I then die cut the grass from Impression Obsession and attached it to the background.

And here is the Bunny, which I have done using Antique Linen and Gathered Twigs. For the face I used Copic markers in 100, R11 and R22. The carrots are done using the Crackling Campfire, Twisted Citron and Rustic Wilderness.

From a left over carrot I made the crumbs at the bottom of the card using a tiny hole punch and made the sentiment using my Brother Label Machine.

I usually have a good time making my cards, but this card was particularily fun to make. I think it is all the details that came together which made it fun.

Thank you for stopping by today. I will see you next time.
