The weather is getting cooler which means it’s time to get my sweaters and scarves out of the spare closet. I love sweater weather!!
My two cards today are the same but different.
I used the Winter Wear Stamp Set and the coordinating Winter Wear Dies along with the Nuvo Aqua Flow Autumn Woodland Pens to make both of my cards. I started by squirting some ink from the pens onto my craft mat and then gave them a few spritzes of water. I took a piece of Ranger Distress Cardstock and pounced it into the ink on my craft mat and then dried it with my heat gun. I did this a couple of times until I was happy with the way it looked. I stamped a hat and mittens and cut them out with the coordinating dies for one card and then die cut a rectangle for the other card. While I had the rectangle die out I cut another one from white card stock.
For both cards I stamped the face, the glasses and the sentiment using Versafine Nocturne ink. For the card below I used a water brush to remove some the ink from the hair and the eyes. I used a sparkle pen to add some shine to the glasses for both of the cards. I added the hats with craft foam and then added the mittens directly to the panel. I added the panels to the card bases using craft foam.
