Today I thought I’d share a bit of a flashback project… a simple, but frightful & delightful card I made featuring Tim Holtz blueprints stamps & Perfect Pearls by Ranger!
The sentiment is an old (but fun!) one by Hero Arts. The focal point here is the blueprint image which was clear embossed on black cardstock (or you can do black on black if you prefer, the results are similar!) and then painted in with Perfect Pearls. These are a dry, pearly pigment powder which can be mixed with water to make a stunning, almost opaque paint! The result is lovely on a variety of colors, but is very striking on black. It’s simple and very effective, hope you like it!
Here’s a close up:
It’s a fun technique I hope you’ll try! Perfect Pearls come in a variety of shades and are a very versatile product!
Hope your week is full of treats 🙂
Inky hugs,
Tara
Nice to see you crafting and blogging! Love these cards!
