Hello and welcome to another post featuring Random Acts of Cardness. It’s Susan here with todays prompt is Feather. I was thinking about doing a bird but when I was looking through my stash I saw this Zen Leaf 2 from Lavinia and an idea popped into my head straight away. Now I know what you’re thinking – the prompt is feather and I used a leaf but doesn’t it look like a feather to you? It does to me so I went with it.

I used the stamp to cover the front of a white card base, layered on a piece of black cardstock on an angle.
Next I cut a piece of white card stock using the Stitched Rectangle Dies, stamped the feather on an angle then stamped the sentiment from Fran’s Happy Messages by Stampendous.
To add a bit of color I used my Prismacolor pencils. There’s something about blues and greens that are very zen to me so they were the perfect choice for this Zen (Leaf) Feather.
