Every Friday we post a new sketch challenge on the Blog with a sample made by one of our talented Design Team members for inspiration. You can use this sketch to create your own version of the card or as the jumping off point for a scrapbook page, home decor items or whatever you like. We would love to have you share your creations so we create a new gallery each month that you can upload your pictures to. It’s a great way to inspire others and get share ideas and techniques.
As a little bonus we hold a random draw every month for FREE stuff from Scrap ‘n Stamp that you can win just by uploading your creations to our gallery. Hope you will play along.

Design Team Samples:
Mary-Ann created this lovely card with patterned papers from the Duchess Collection and accented many of the elements with Decorative Line Peel Off Stickers. The leaves (Inkadinkado set – Leaves Galore) were stamped, heat embossed and cut out to create individual elements. Pearls were used to accent the BossKut scroll die cuts for the perfect finishing touch. Stacked layers give this card wonderful depth. Simply elegant.

Here is how you enter the Sketch Challenge draw:
1. Make a card using one of our October Sketches, make sure you use at least ONE item currently for sale at Scrap ‘n Stamp
2. Upload your card to the Sketch Challenge Gallery for that month
3. Once your Card is uploaded leave a comment on one of the Sketch Challenge Posts letting us know you have completed the Challenge and the number of cards you have uploaded. Then, your name will be entered in our draw monthly draw.
4. Make one, two, three or all of the sketches – it’s your choice! For each card you upload you will receive an entry in the monthly draw. That’s right – upload as many cards as you like and receive an entry in our monthly draw for each one!
It’s that simple!

This was a nice sketch to work with. I uploaded my sample card into the gallery. And as an added bonus I also took this opportunity to try out Shellie’s Emboss-Resist technique shared last Tuesday (very fun!!)

So far, I have posted 2 cards the the October Sketch Challenges. Unfortunately, I forgot to say which card was for which challenge. I hope that won’t eliminate me from the competition.
