Happy Saturday and welcome back! Laurie here to share a love or friendship themed card using the Space Reserved Stamp Set from Penny Black.
I love this set. Even though it is intended for Valentine’s Day, it can be used for many other occasions.
I coloured up this adorable and large image using my alcohol markers. I took the time to fussy cut as I wanted to pop it up on the card front. I cut a white panel to smaller than the card base and using the Cloud Stencil from MFT and Tumbled Glass Distress Ink, created a light cloudy background. I used Bundled Sage Distress Ink on the lower portion of the panel to tie in with the coloured grass.
I popped the cute image onto the ink blended panel using foam adhesive then added the panel to the card base, also using foam adhesive…I love dimension!! The sentiment comes from the From the Heart Stamp Set from MFt and was white heat embossed on a small strip of black cardstock. This was also popped up!
I decided to add the purple butterfly for an extra element as well as a few clear sequins.
