Tuesday with Tara {take 368} Hello There

Hello There!  I’m back after some a bit of time off!  It’s been fun for me to see Raya’s picks of my past cards to share on Tuesday’s here 🙂   Life is a bit crazy for me right now, and will continue to be that way for a while but for now I’m happy to share another card and some ‘creative therapy’ as I’m able to make things!

Today, I’ve got one more card I did using the fabulous Leaf Fragment dies by Tim Holtz.  This is the first one I’m sharing here on the SNS Blog, but if you participated in our September Inspiration hop  (or follow me on Instagram) you probably saw some of the others!

I made a series of 4 cards using a variety of inky leaves, Kraft card stock and book print and for this one, I added a glittery sentiment!  I die cut a BOLD TEXT sentiment with gold glitter Cardstock and pieced the letters carefully together along a ruler to keep them as straight as possible.  I kinda wish I had cut it from white or black also to layer under it and add a bit more pop, but since I didn’t I simply highlighted the left edges of the letters with a dark green pen to add some definition.

It definitely feels like autumn is here in the south now- temperatures have dropped and we had quite a bit of rain & wind as Ian landed in the United States.  Thankfully, where I’m living we didn’t have any major damage.  There were plenty of trees knocked down from the winds, and because of that we had a power outage for 12 hours on Friday night/Saturday morning.  It was mostly an inconvenience here and we are very grateful for our safety!

Be sure to stop back by this weekend- our October Inspiration Hop begins on Friday and it’s sure to be a treat!

Inky hugs,

Tara
