Hello and happy Saturday! Laurie with you today to share a fun and easy card featuring the Zippy Zebras Stamp Set and co-ordinating dies from My Favorite Things!
This is an adorable set and lends itself well to quick cards. Because zebras are black and white, these images don’t even need to be coloured. Although, I did add some quick shading with Copics.
I did some ink blending on the front of a white, 4.25X4.25 card base with a light blue ink using my Taylored Expressions Blending Brushes. Love these, by the way. They are totally different than the Picket Fence Studio brushes. Much softer and sturdier, in my opinion 🙂 I used a wavy grass die from Lawn Fawn and used a light green ink to add some colour.
I coloured and die cut a few of the images from the Zippy Zebras set and set up my scene using foam adhesive and a little bit of liquid glue.
Because I can’t leave well enough alone, I took a black pen and quickly added a simple black line and some dots around the card. I often do this if I think a card is a little too clean and simple!
