Wishing You Happiness

Hi Everyone!

It’s Susan and today I am sharing a super quick one layer Clean and Simple (CAS) card to play along with the Random Acts of Cardness Challenge. The prompt is CAS and this card doesn’t get any more CAS or easier.

On the front of a card I stamped the girl image from Sip Happens from Picket Fence and below it I stamped the sentiment from Penny Blacks Sentiment Collection. I stamped them both with Catherine Pooler Designs Midnight ink.

I used a fine tip black marker to draw the line at the bottom of the image – it looked unfinished without it.

I used the Crimson (847) Tombow marker to color in the shirt, wine, lips and finger nails.

And that’s it.

This card is done.

Told you it was easy.

Now it’s your turn.

Make a project with the CAS theme and share it with us at the Scrap’n Stamp Facebook Challenge page.

You could win a $25 Gift Certificate to the store so why not come join in the fun.

Happy Stampin’
and thanks so much for visiting!
Stay safe everyone!!

No Wish is Too Small

Hi Everyone! It’s Susan and I’m here with a card for Random Acts of Cardness. Today’s prompt is WISH. I chose to use the Make a Wish Mini stamp set from Colorado Craft Company. It’s such a cute little stamp set.

I started with a panel of white card stock that I cut with the second largest die from the Lawn Fawn Stitched 4 Bar Rectangle Die set. I placed it in my MISTI and stamped the mouse using Midnight ink.

I placed the tag (coming soon to the SNS shop) from Hampton Art over top of the mouse I just stamped using a little adhesive to hold it in place. I stamped the mouse again onto the tag. Doing it this way ensures that the image on the tag and on the white panel will line up perfectly.

I colored the image in using my Prismacolor pencils then added the tag to the panel using craft foam for dimension. I added some bakers twine to the tag and added the panel directly to the card base.

The sentiment is embossed with white embossing powder onto some black card stock then cut with one of the dies from Poppystamps Word Balloons Die set. I adhered that directly to the tag and this card is done!

Warm & Cozy Hugs

Hi Everyone! Happy Saturday! It’s Susan here with a card for todays Random Act of Cardness prompt of WARM.  You can play along with us over on the Scrap’n Stamp Challenge Page on Facebook.

I used the Jill Stamp Set from Picket Fence Studios because she’s dressed WARM and drinking a WARM beverage. I stamped it using my mini MISTI and some Midnight ink from Catherine Pooler Designs. I colored it in with my Prismacolor Pencils then put the image back in my MISTI and stamped it again to crisp up the lines. I cut the image out then made the background. I used Lemongrass, Shea Butter, Clay Mask and Orange Peel inks from Catherine Pooler to blend a background that felt WARM then die cut it using the 2nd largest die from the Lawn Fawn Large 4 Bar die set.

The sentiment is from Concord & 9th’s Winter Wear Stamp Set and I chose it because, you guessed it, it has the word WARM in it. 😉 I stamped it with WOW embossing ink onto some black card stock then heat set it with WOW Super Fine White Embossing Powder. I cut each word out separately then adhered them to the panel.

I layered the panel onto some black card stock the using craft foam I adhered it to a piece of patterned paper from MFT’s B&W Striped Paper Pack which I also layered onto some black card stock. I adhered that directly to a white card base.
