Hello Crafters, Kia with you today.
I decided I would do a spotlight card for today’s post and settled on this image from Picket Fence Studios called Wild Rose.
First up I did the Color Burst background using cold press watercolour paper to use for my framing and bird. I used Ultramarine Blue, Pthalo Blue and Chartreuse, then dried the piece.
To make my frame I used my Elegant Stitching Die for the detail and a Spellbinder die to cut the inside part away.
Using Gina K. Designs Wisper White card stock I stamped the image with VersaFine Claire Ink in Nocturne then coloured the highlighted flowers with Copics. I attached the frames using fun foam.
I stamped the little bird on some of the left over Color Burst piece and die cut attaching to the frame on the bottom using glue and a piece of fun foam under his body.
To finish I stamped the sentiment along the bottom of the card using Archival Ink in Paradise Teal and doing several stampings to get the deeper colour.
Thank you for visiting today and I hope you have enjoyed this card today. Following are affiliate links to the products I used on this card, at no extra cost to you.
Wow Kia, this card is absolutely STUNNING, love your color choices and the spotlight technique
