Happy Tuesday! Today for our Random Acts of Cardness word in our FB group the word is HEART! I had planned to share another card I made with a Tracey Hey stamp, but I wanted more focus on the heart (and had a new die/embossing folder I hadn’t made anything with yet)! Today I wanted to keep my card simple but sparkly… I combined an embossed die cut I did using the Lucky Love Embossing folder from Tim Holtz. I cut from white & inked it up with Distress Spray Stain and Dina’s Gloss Spray, which was a fun combo to give a bit of texture to the smooth center of the heart. I paired it with a glittery die cut from Honeybee Bitty Buzzwords.
It doesn’t get much simpler than this- layered die cuts over a Kraft panel with a sentiment sticker to tie it all together! In addition to the glittery word, I added a bunch of bling to the heart to tie it all together. I love the contrast against the Kraft panel. I also love that this heart card has a sentiment that makes it suitable for all sorts of occasions- I’m thinking a celebratory congratulations card!
