Made with love
Hello all, Kia here with you today to share this slimline card I made using Prismacolor Pencils and blending solution.
As I have a bird I use a natural product for blending called Zest It and I also use paper stumps. You can also use Distress Crayons, which can also be layered and are blended with water.
There are other tools available to make the blending easier, such as the Prismacolor Blending Pencils and Tim Holtz empty Alcohol Ink Blending Pen can be filled with the blending solution, i.e. Gamsol.
The stamp I used is from Memory Box called All the Happiness. It is perfect for colouring with those larger flowers.
Above I have almost finished the leaves and am in the middle of my second layer of colour on the flowers. I have used 4 different colours for the flowers and 5 colours for the leaves. All the colours I used can be found here.
For the card I made the slimline base from Neenah cardstock. I then cut a piece of the same card for my top layer.
Using a stencil which I taped off for my stripe, I added Distress Ink in Fired Brick to the stencil. I then applied the Distress Texture Paste over the inked portion, dragging the ink with the paste as it was applied to the card.
Once dried I stamped the sentiment, also from the set, using red ink then added splatters using gold Gansai watercolour. Once dry I added foam tape to the back and attached the panel to my card base.
To finish I added some gold gems and splatters of Midas Touch Shimmering Pen to the flowers, which are styled and attached using foam squares.
I had a lot of fun doing this card and I hope you enjoy it as well. Following are Affiliate links for some of the products that I have used today, at no extra cost to you.
